faculty: the group of people who teach at a school.
financial aid: Money awarded to a student to help pay for college, generally given based on financial need.
general education requirements: A group of courses that all students must take in order to graduate from an institution.
Grade Point Average (GPA): A system of recording achievement based on a numerical average of the grades a student receives in each course of study.
grant: Money given to people to help pay for schooling. Grants do not have to be repaid.
Graduate Record Examinations (GRE): A test for entry into graduate school. Commonly required of applicants to graduate schools in fields other than business, law, and medicine.
interdisciplinary: Drawing on two or more disciplines in a single course of study.
Master's Degree: A degree beyond a Bachelor's Degree. Also known as a Graduate Degree.
