thesis: A work that presents the author's research and findings. Often submitted in support of candidature for a degree or professional qualification.
training: An organized attempt to assist learning through instruction, observation and/or practice.
transcript: A copy of a student's academic record.
transferred credits: Credits that a student can transfer from one learning institution to another and use toward the attainment of a degree.
tuition: a fee paid for instruction.
two-year college: An institution of higher education that offers Associate Degrees. Also known as a junior college.
undergraduate: A university student who has not yet received a degree.
virtual classroom: An online environment where students and instructors interact online.
work experience: Work-based learning that provides a student with experiences related to his field of study.
work study: A federally funded program that makes on-campus part-time jobs available to students with financial need.
